WCVM graduate shares tale of survival

Dr. Sarah Boston is returning to her alma mater and the city she once called home to share her very personal story of veterinary medicine, cancer and survival.

At a book launch June 26 for Lucky Dog: How Being a Veterinarian Saved My Life and in a talk at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine June 27, Boston will recount her experience with the human health-care system and its frustrations as she sought diagnosis and treatment for thyroid cancer.
