Something to smile about

A unique partnership is giving recent refugees something to smile about.

Kenderdine Dental, in collaboration with the Saskatoon Open Door Society and the U of S College of Dentistry, has arranged free dental procedures to Syrian refugees settling in Saskatoon. The dental work is being carried out by practicum dental students in the college.

“It’s really humbling to see their reactions,” practicum student Brendon Reynaud toldGlobal Saskatoon. “They’re very happy afterwards when you can even save a tooth for them.”
