Vet students to host young equine riders

For one Saturday in January, young riders in Saskatchewan will have the chance to learn all about horse health care, equine veterinary medicine and horse husbandry from future veterinarians at the University of Saskatchewan's Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM).

Members of the WCVM Equine Club are organizing activities for the 2012 Pony Club and 4-H Education Day that will take place at the veterinary college on January 21. The annual event is always a highlight for members of local Canadian Pony Club branches and equine-focused 4-H clubs across Saskatchewan.
