The University of Saskatchewan's Greystone Singers took top spot in this year's Mixed-Voice Collegiate Choirs category in the 2013 Association of Canadian Choral Communities (ACCC) national competition for Canadian amateur choirs.
The competition is held biennially in collaboration with the Canada Council for the Arts, CBC Music and Festival 500 Sharing the Voices.
The Greystone Singers, conducted by Gerald Langner from the Department of Music, prevailed in the finals over their counterparts from the University of Manitoba and the University of Western Ontario in the biennially competition put on in collaboration with the Canada Council for the Arts, CBC Music and Festival 500 Sharing the Voices.
