Grad House wins design award of merit
Its exterior composition of glazing, paneling and masonry as well as its diverse range of unit types were among the features that earned Graduate House at the University of Saskatchewan an award of merit in the 2014 Prairie Design Awards.

The Prairie Design Awards are handed out every two years by the professional associations of architects in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba to celebrate creativity and skill in architecture and interior design. The award citation for Graduate House notes the exterior of the building "conveys a strong sense of residential scale and institutional ambition" with careful use of materials and a keen attention to detail.
The architect on the Grad House project was Stantec Architecture Ltd.
The building also received the 2013 award of excellence from the Design Council of Saskatchewan.
