On Campus News available online-only in May

As social distancing and self-isolation protocols remain in place and University of Saskatchewan buildings remain closed while students, staff and faculty work and study from home during the coronavirus pandemic, On Campus News will again be produced in an online-only format for the Friday, May 8 edition.

In this issue, we profile vaccine research developments at VIDO-InterVac as well as updates from across campus as the university continues to do its part to flatten the curve while dealing with COVID-19. This edition of OCN also spotlights a number of graduating students in arts and science, education, engineering, kinesiology and nursing, and a pair of our outstanding Huskie football student-athletes waiting to kick off their CFL careers.

The complete university news magazine is now available for download in its entirety in PDF format here. Each of this issue’s OCN feature stories are also posted individually in the news section of the university’s website here.

Our OCN writers and communications specialists from across the university will continue to update the campus community with news, human-interest features and personal profiles from all colleges, schools and departments. We hope you enjoy reading the May edition online and we thank you for your patience and understanding at this challenging time.
