Singers take centre stage

Both current and former U of S music students took centre stage, and a lot of prizes, in a unique opera competition held recently in Convocation Hall.

The $5,000 top prize in the Gordon Wallis Opera Competition went to Chelsea Mahan, a 2011 graduate of the music education program at the U of S and currently a student in the opera program at McGill University.
