USask alumna named one of 20 business risk takers

A USask alumna who is at the helm of one of the largest multinational corporations in the world has been named as one of CNN’s 20 risk-takers who is pushing global business forward.

Carolyn Tastad (BComm ‘83), currently group president of Procter and Gamble (P&G) North America, is showcased in a CNN feature alongside the leaders of some of the world’s largest companies, including Netflix, Facebook and Disney. Selected as one of Fortune's Most Powerful Women in Business, Tastad began her career at P&G Canada as an analyst the same year she graduated from USask.

Overseeing operations for one of the largest global brands, Tastad also aims to address social issues while pitching products. Tastad will be speaking at USask for a Women in Leadership event on Oct. 3, which will feature a discussion and Q&A session.
