Joyce Davison receives Local Hero Award for prostate cancer research

Joyce Davison, an associate professor in the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Nursing, has become the first woman to ever receive a Local Hero Award from Prostate Cancer Canada.

The award recognizes the contributions of people who are working to address prostate cancer. Davison's research program aims to improve treatment decision-making and quality of life of prostate cancer patients and their partners throughout their illness.
