455 Fairford Street East

Moose Jaw, SK

Dean of Medicine, Dr. Preston Smith, together with partners from the provincial government and the Five Hills Health Region will welcome four new family medicine trainees to Moose Jaw. These medical residents are the first to receive their postgraduate training in Moose Jaw, thanks to the expansion of the College of Medicine's distributed medical education model.

The College of Medicine is mandated to serve the people of Saskatchewan and it is critical for the college to have a well-established presence throughout the province. The expansion of medical education training to Moose Jaw has been planned for several years. Recruiting the first group of resident doctors is an important milestone in further developing Moose Jaw as a distributed medical education site.

Interviews can be arranged following a brief program.
