Quance Theatre, Education Building
28 Campus Drive
University of Saskatchewan

Under the direction of Dean McNeill, the ensemble will perform a number of selections from the CD as part of the release celebration. The ensemble includes students with both music and non-music majors, and the new CD includes a mix of classic arrangements, new repertoire and guest performances.

Bumper Crop VI: Continuance includes tracks featuring the full ensemble along with performances by a jazz combo made up of students pursuing the Department of Music's new certificate in jazz. There is also a piano solo by recent bachelor of music graduate Jared Tehse, and performances by Canadian guest artists including saxophonist Bill Prouten and singer/songwriter Eileen Laverty. Three selections from the CD are from the ensemble's first ever recording session at The Bassment, Saskatoon's pre-eminent jazz club.

As with previous Bumper Crop CDs, proceed from the sale of Continuance will support ongoing performances, recording and touring activities for the group.
