U of S welcomes 50th class of vet students at White Coat Ceremony

The University of Saskatchewan invites media to attend the Western College of Veterinary Medicine's (WCVM) White Coat Ceremony:

First-year students in WCVM will receive an official welcome to the college and to the veterinary profession during the ceremony. Representatives from national and provincial veterinary medical associations will hand out personalized white lab coats and stethoscopes to the students.

This year's ceremony marks the 50th class of students to join the college. Since 1965, the veterinary college has produced close to 3,000 graduates who have made many contributions to animal and public health as well as to their communities across Canada.
