U of S community supporting student refugees
SASKATOON - Media and members of the public are invited to attend a student refugee program forum at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S). At the forum, U of S students, staff and faculty will discuss how they can support, welcome, resettle and integrate six new refugees coming to study at the U of S in September:
Wednesday, Feb. 24, 3-4 pm
WUSC Student Refugee Program Forum
International Student and Study Abroad Centre
Room 80, Lower Place Riel Student Centre

The Student Refugee Program is run through the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) U of S Chapter and is supported by the University of Saskatchewan Students' Union and the U of S.
Panelists on the forum will include faculty, staff and students who are involved with the program.
Available for interviews:
- • Patti McDougall, vice-provost teaching and learning, U of S.
- • Gabriela Mangano, WUSC representative and professor of geological sciences, College of Arts and Science.
