U of S event to showcase leadership gurus
SASKATOON - Members of the media are invited to hear from an impressive list of leadership gurus lined up by the Edwards School of Business for its annual one-day leadership conference.
This year's University of Saskatchewan (U of S) event—entitled Building a Culture of Resilience—is the eighth annual conference and will showcase industry and academic leaders in resilient leadership.
Keynote speaker Murad Al-Katib, president and CEO of AGT Food and Ingredients Inc., will present during the luncheon portion of the conference at 12:20 pm. Other guest speakers include Deri Latimer (TEDx speaker and director of Positivity Speaking in Winnipeg); Billy Strean (Master Teacher and 3M Scholar and professor at the University of Alberta); John Lagimodiere (president of ACS Aboriginal Consulting Services, publisher and editor of Eagle Feather News); Chelsea Willness (assistant professor and Grandey Scholar in Sustainable Leadership at the Edwards School of Business); and Marvin Romanow (executive in residence at the U of S).
Each of the guest speakers will be available for media interviews at 11:30 am, with the exception of Al-Katib, who can meet with media at 1 pm.
