U of S students using history to serve the community

SASKATOON—Members of the media are invited to join University of Saskatchewan (U of S) undergraduate students who are using their investigative skills to help community organizations achieve their research needs.

The research initiative called Collaboratorium is having an open house to showcase this summer’s research projects, and is open to students and members of the general public.

Collaboratorium works on the principle of sharing knowledge, and by partnering with local organizations, it reinforces the idea that universities can serve the communities in which they exist, while teaching students to think beyond the classroom and consider the real-world implications of their work.
