U of S students vie to be the next Iron Chef

SASKATOON - Media are invited to attend the Student Iron Chef Competition at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) this week.

This annual student competition features teams of four preparing custom-designed menus served to a panel of judges and more than 500 student diners. Entries will be judged on originality, taste, presentation and an overall score to determine the next Student Iron Chef champions. With each meal purchased on Thursday, Jan. 28, Culinary Services will donate one pound of non-perishable food items to the U of S Students' Union Food Centre located on campus.
