USask to host 95th annual Remembrance Day ceremony

SASKATOON—The University of Saskatchewan (USask) community, members of the public and the media are invited to gather for USask's 95th annual wreath-laying ceremony and brief program on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Memorial Gates in honour of Remembrance Day.

Many USask community members have contributed and sacrificed in service to the Canadian Armed Forces in times past and present. The university’s long and proud tradition of military service by faculty, staff, students, and alumni is commemorated in a series of stories and messages shared online and across campus.

All are invited to attend the wreath-laying ceremony and to visit the many memorials around campus to pay tribute to those in our campus community who have served. Several memorials are located throughout the USask campus and can be found on the campus memorial map.
