USask Greystone Theatre launches new comedy, 10 Out of 12

SASKATOON – From Feb. 7 to 10, the University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Arts and Science Department of Drama’s latest production, 10 Out of 12, will hit the Greystone Theatre stage.

Directed by USask sessional lecturer Clare Middleton, the wry comedy written by American playwright Anne Washburn brings the audience along the often-bumpy journey of the final rehearsals before opening night.

Over a period of years, Washburn took notes at rehearsals, noting the thousands of decisions to be made, diverse personalities and often big egos comprising those last rehearsals, before the magic of theatre is felt.

With set design by Prof. Ken MacKenzie, lighting design by student Ian Kimpton, costume design by student Abraham Galman, and sound design by student Cody Brayshaw, tickets are available online or by calling 306-966-5188.
