USask Fall Convocation to celebrate 934 graduates
SASKATOON – This fall, 934 students will receive 956 degrees, certificates and diplomas from the University of Saskatchewan (USask). These graduates join a century-old community of more than 171,000 alumni worldwide whose contributions are helping to shape our world.
Fall Convocation at USask takes place on Wednesday, November 8. Both 9 am and 2 pm ceremonies will be streamed live.
Story ideas:
- A number of awards will be presented, including the Distinguished Researcher Award, Distinguished Teacher Award, President’s Medal, as well as one honorary degree.
- As we celebrate the class of 2023, we also celebrate the class of 1973. It is our tradition to honour graduates from 50 years ago whom we call Golden Grads. Visit the USask Alumni website to see how we celebrate this milestone.
- Father Andre Poilièvre will also be honoured with a USask honorary degree during Fall Convocation. Read more
