Spring Convocation 2026 welcomes 3,976 more USask alumni
SASKATOON — Spring convocation at the University of Saskatchewan (USask) takes place between Monday, June 1 and Friday, June 5, 2026.
This spring, 3,976 students will receive 4,289 degrees, certificates and diplomas from USask. These graduates join a century-old community of more than 180,000 alumni worldwide whose contributions are helping to shape our world.
All eight ceremonies will be streamed live on the convocation webpage.

- New President: This will be the first convocation with Vince Bruni-Bossio as University President. Bruni-Bossio is the 12th president and vice-chancellor in USask’s history. Bruni-Bossio will be formally installed as president during the June 1st ceremony. The Lieutenant Governor, Her Honour the Honorable Bernadette McIntyre will be present to administer the oath of office.
- A number of awards will be presented, including the Distinguished Researcher Award and the Distinguished Teacher Award, as well as two honorary degrees.
